The Name

Named for the lines that mapped the ancient world.

The Meridian Foundation is named for the meridian lines ancient Mediterranean civilizations used to map their world — a reference that connects the geographic focus, the spatial methods, and the mission of preserving the cartography of human civilization itself.

The Foundation receives a structured endowment from the commercial entities LEXGRID, STRATA commercial tier, and TERRAPULSE — and deploys that capital across three permanent programs.
